This software is designed to revolutionise the allocation of shifts. At the touch of a button the computer will work out the shift pattern for any given period based on the staffing requirements and staff preferences stored. The staff member’s details, such as grades, preferred working hours, holidays etc are entered into the system.

The computer will automatically allocate the shifts based on this information and if a particular shift remains unfulfilled, that shift is highlighted indicating that manual intervention is necessary. Staff members meeting the shift criteria are selected randomly, in order to spread the load evenly amongst all those eligible.

Annual leave and public holidays are programmed into the computation and can be edited if required and, in addition, extra optional days can be created as holidays on a one off basis.

When a satisfactory scheme has been achieved the chart can be printed for individual retention and/or displayed on a notice board.
